The conflict in Yemen means more to the Iranian regime than merely taunting its Gulf rivals. Rather, it seems to be an ideological crusade to unite the Muslim world under its own Islamist rule, one that will always see any attempts at peace as merely a delay in the process.

One of the Iranian leaders' main objectives in empowering their militias and terror groups in other countries is to export the Islamic Republic Revolution to other nations. This mission is, in fact, part of Iran's Constitution.

Iran's Army and Revolutionary Guards "will be responsible not only for guarding and preserving the frontiers of the country, but also for fulfilling the ideological mission of (Shiite) jihad in God's way; that is, extending the sovereignty of God's (Shiite) law throughout the world ... in the hope that this century will witness the establishment of a universal holy government and the downfall of all others." — Iran's Constitution.

The Biden administration needs, once and for all, to abandon its appeasement policy towards Iran's ruling mullahs. They are in charge of a predatory regime that has understatedly been called the world's top state sponsor of terrorism. Yet the current US administration seems hell-bent on empowering them.

The US Department of Justice announced on December 7, 2021 the successful seizure and forfeiture of two large caches of Iranian weapons. The arms were being shipped from Iran to the Houthis in Yemen, in yet another Iranian violation of UN Security Council Resolution 2140. One of the Iranian leaders' main objectives in empowering their militias and terror groups in other countries is to export the Islamic Republic Revolution to other nations. In the wake of the largest seizure of arms and fuel from Iranian terror groups to date, the Biden administration has remained silent.

The US Department of Justice announced on December 7, 2021 the successful forfeiture of two large caches of Iranian weapons. The weapons reportedly included advanced arms such as "171 guided anti-tank missiles, eight surface-to-air missiles, land attack cruise missile components, anti-ship cruise missile components, thermal weapon optics and other components for missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles [drones]". The U.S. Navy also seized Iranian petroleum products from "four foreign-flagged tankers in or around the Arabian Sea while en route to Venezuela. These actions represent the government's largest-ever forfeitures of fuel and weapons shipments from Iran."

After decades of bashing marriage and demanding that it be shredded, a curious trend may be emerging among at least some liberals to recognize that a successful society depends on a thriving marriage culture. They haven’t gone so far as to suggest that their push for “marriage equality” – that is to say redefining marriage in law to strip it of its essential nature – was wrong-headed. Sohn writes, “[The] case for marriage is strong, the risks of falling marriage rates are large, and this alone may justify serious marriage-promotion efforts.”

Perhaps not surprisingly, Sohn appears to have difficulty arguing that promoting marriage is a critical public good in its own right. Rather, he sees it as part of a useful compromise between liberals and conservatives where liberals give ground on some important social issues – specifically promoting marriage and preventing pornography – while conservatives give ground on an issue of huge importance to liberals, namely climate change.

I’m not going to get dragged into a debate about climate change, and certainly not into a quid pro quo trade on the issue with liberals, but I do take some pride and solace in observing some on the left coming to recognize marriage as the foundational institution of society, one critical to human flourishing. The left’s push to redefine marriage has been entirely political, a plank in a politically ideological platform. But nothing about marriage is political, nor is it ideological. The benefits of a thriving marriage culture are indisputable. When you abandon marriage, you sacrifice the benefits the institution provides.

This is always the case when indisputable facts confront political ideology. For example, when elite society embraces a criminal “reform” ideology that stops enforcing laws and ceases to prosecute lawbreakers, and instead lets criminals out of jail, the consequences of their ideology soon become crystal clear – crime rises and innocent people suffer.

Alla tenera età di 13 anni, Billie Eilish ha attirato l'attenzione internazionale con l'uscita del suo primo singolo. E questa settimana,abbiamo appreso che la cantautrice americana aveva solo 11 anni quando è stata introdotta per la prima volta alla pornografia; un'abitudine, dice, che ha "distrutto il (suo) cervello".

Eilish, che compie 20 anni questo fine settimana, ha fatto i commenti audaci su The Howard Stern Show. L'ironia non è persa su coloro che hanno familiarità con il fatto che Stern è stato a lungo un convinto sostenitore del porno e di tutte le cose sessualmente esplicite e oscene.

Nello show Sirius / XM, Eilish non si è tirata indietro, dicendo che il porno "è una vergogna" e che le immagini "violente" e "abusive" che ha visto da bambina le hanno anche causato "incubi".

"Come donna, penso che il porno sia una vergogna. Guardavo un sacco di porno, ad essere onesti", ammettendo di essere stata esposta per la prima volta ad esso all'età di 11 anni. Inchinandosi alla pressione dei coetanei, Eilish ha detto che sentiva che guardare le immagini sessuali e la violenza la faceva sentire come "uno dei ragazzi". Ma ora, dice che la pornografia "ha davvero distrutto il mio cervello e mi sento incredibilmente devastata dal fatto di essere stata esposta a così tanto porno".

La nativa della California, che è stata educata a casa da sua madre (lei stessa, una musicista), è stata schietta sulla questione dell'immagine del corpo delle donne da quando è esplosa sulla scena pop. Ora ammette che il porno ha un effetto dannoso sul modo in cui le donne vedono se stesse e le loro esperienze sessuali.

"Non capivo perché fosse una brutta cosa, pensavo che fosse il modo in cui hai imparato a fare sesso ... Ero un avvocato e pensavo di essere uno dei ragazzi e ne parlavo e pensavo di essere davvero figo per non avere problemi con esso e non vedere perché era cattivo. "

Ha detto che le prime volte che ha fatto sesso, "non stava dicendo di no a cose che non erano buone" perché "pensavo che fosse quello da cui dovevo essere attratta" in base alla sua visione.

Eilish ha avvertito che la pornografia è un "vero problema" che potrebbe avere effetti devastanti sui giovani per quanto riguarda ciò che è normale durante il sesso e prima del sesso (consenso).

Organizzazioni come l'Unicef fanno eco a questa visione, affermando che "l'esposizione alla pornografia in giovane età può portare a cattiva salute mentale, sessismo e oggettivazione, violenza sessuale e altri esiti negativi.

Tra gli altri rischi, quando i bambini vedono la pornografia che ritrae atti abusivi e misogini, possono arrivare a vedere tale comportamento come normale e accettabile.

Detto Eilish, "Sono così arrabbiato che il porno sia così amato, e sono così arrabbiato con me stesso per aver pensato che andasse bene".

Quindi, se un maschio biologico "si identifica" come una donna, è in realtà una donna. Allo stesso modo, se una donna biologica "si identifica" come un uomo, è in realtà un uomo. Questi attivisti sostengono che la credenza "crea" la realtà, nonostante il fatto che la credenza non cambi un singolo fatto fisico.

Bene, la Corte Suprema liberale del Messico ha portato questo pensiero al livello successivo stabilendo che l'età con cui una persona "si identifica" è in realtà l'età di quella persona. In una sentenza emessa il 3 dicembre 2021, la corte ha dichiarato:

Se prima della società una persona si è costantemente identificata nei suoi atti privati e pubblici con una data di nascita, allora questa fa parte della sua biografia, della sua "verità personale", poiché l'identità è costruita per tutta la vita dell'essere umano, comprendendo elementi e aspetti che vanno oltre la "verità biologica". Questi elementi devono riflettersi nel certificato di nascita, in quanto è un documento attraverso il quale una persona viene identificata e individualizzata all'interno della società.

Il tribunale ha poi aggiunto che una modifica del proprio certificato di nascita all'età con cui ci si identifica può essere effettuata solo se "non si osserva la malafede per voler utilizzare tale modifica per creare, modificare o estinguere diritti o obblighi a danno di terzi".

Nonostante il linguaggio condizionale di cui sopra per quanto riguarda la malafede, la sentenza della corte ha aperto un barattolo di vermi che può portare a risultati devastanti e assurdi, soprattutto per quanto riguarda i nostri figli. Ad esempio, cosa succede se un pedofilo di 30 anni afferma di non poter essere perseguito per aver violentato una minorenne perché "in buona fede" si identifica come un bambino di 10 anni? O se un uomo di 30 anni sostiene di non poter essere perseguito per stupro legale perché "in buona fede" si identifica come un ragazzo di 16 anni? (Questo non è difficile da credere per quanto riguarda molti uomini immaturi). O cosa succede se una 12enne matura afferma che deve ricevere una patente di guida o essere autorizzata a comprare alcolici perché "in buona fede" si identifica come una signora di 21 anni? O cosa succede se un ragazzo maturo di 13 anni sostiene che deve essere lasciato entrare in uno strip club perché "in buona fede" si identifica come un uomo di 25 anni? O cosa succede se una persona di 40 anni afferma di avere diritto a una pensione e di ridurre l'assicurazione sanitaria del pensionato perché "in buona fede" si identifica come un 65enne? L'elenco dei possibili risultati perversi continua all'infinito.

Una volta che le élite liberali, in particolare legislatori e giudici, accettano la falsa convinzione spinta dagli ideologi LGBT radicali che gli uomini biologici possono diventare donne e le donne biologiche possono diventare uomini perché "l'identità vince sulla realtà", aprono un vaso di Pandora. Se l'"identità" vince veramente sulla realtà, allora il modo in cui ci si "identifica" – non importa quanto contrario ai fatti – deve essere accettato come realtà. I detenuti gestiscono veramente il manicomio. Speriamo che la maggioranza silenziosa che sostiene il buon senso e apprezza la realtà si sollevi contro questa follia prima che sia troppo tardi.

The LGBT movement has opened yet another Pandora's box, by way of the Supreme Court of Mexico. The Marxist ideologues are now telling us that age isn't even a thing, but a figment of the imagination... and must now be enshrined in law.

For years now, radical LGBT activists have been telling us that “identity trumps reality.” Thus, if a biological male “identifies” as a woman, he is in fact a woman. Likewise, if a biological woman “identifies” as a man, she is in fact a man. These activists argue that belief “creates” reality, despite the fact that belief does not change a single physical fact.

Well, the liberal Supreme Court of Mexico has taken this thinking to the next level by ruling that the age a person “identifies” with is in fact that person’s age. In a ruling issued on December 3, 2021, the court stated:

[I]f before society a person has constantly identified himself in his private and public acts with a date of birth, then this is part of his biography, of his “personal truth,” since identity is built throughout life of the human being, understanding elements and aspects that go beyond “biological truth.” These elements must be reflected in the birth certificate, as it is a document through which a person is identified and individualized within society.

The court then added that a change on one’s birth certificate to the age one identifies with can be made only if “bad faith is not observed to want to use that change to create, modify or extinguish rights or obligations to the detriment of third parties.”



Despite the above conditional language regarding bad faith, the court’s ruling has opened up a can of worms that can lead to devastating and absurd results, especially in regard to our children. For example, what happens if a 30-year-old pedophile claims that he cannot be prosecuted for raping a minor because he “in good faith” identifies as a 10-year-old? Or if a 30-year-old man argues that he cannot be prosecuted for statutory rape because he “in good faith” identifies as a 16-year-old boy? (This is not hard to believe in regard to many immature men). Or what if a mature 12-year-old claims that she must be given a driver’s license or be allowed to buy alcohol because she “in good faith” identifies as a 21-year-old lady? Or what if a mature 13-year-old boy argues he must be let into a strip club because he “in good faith” identifies as a 25-year-old man? Or what if a 40-year-old person claims that he is entitled to a pension and reduced retiree health insurance because he “in good faith” identifies as a 65-year-old? The list of possible perverse outcomes goes on and on.

Once liberal elites, especially lawmakers and judges, accept the false belief pushed by radical LGBT ideologues that biological men can become women and biological women can become men because “identity trumps reality,” they open up a Pandora’s box. If “identity” truly trumps reality, then how one “identifies” oneself—no matter how contrary to fact—must be accepted as reality. The inmates truly are running the asylum. Let’s hope that the silent majority which supports common sense and appreciates reality will rise up against this insanity before it is too late.

A South American Jewish girl who went missing this week was rescued from a Muslim home in Bolivia.

Naomi Lloroff, a 13-year-old girl from an Orthodox Jewish community in Buenos Aires, had gone missing on Wednesday afternoon.

After reporting her disappearance to police, the family recalled that she had been communicating through TikTok with a person identifying as Said Fanaya, a teenage boy from Bolivia.

She was found Thursday in a Muslim home in Bolivia and taken back to her family.

Jewish organizations had helped with the search. The Security and Prevention Office of the Jewish Community (DAC), which alongside Hatzalah Argentina aided police efforts to locate the girl, said they were able to find her by reaching the Bolivian teen’s father, The Jerusalem Post reported.

“This is an extremely unusual occurrence in our community,” Hamara said on Wednesday, before the girl was located, Arutz-7 reported. “We are with the family, doing what we can to help, praying that she is found healthy and well. We have appealed to all the security agencies here, asking them to do everything in their power to restore Naomi to her family.”

The incident is yet another example of some of the dangers posed by popular social media forums, particularly for children and teens.

Se nelle scorse settimane il caso sembrava a un punto di svolta - dopo la cattura a Parigi di Danish Hasnain, accusato di essere l’esecutore materiale del presunto omicidio della nipote Saman - ora tutto tace.

Intanto, in questi mesi, molto è stato detto sui coniugi Abbas: che sono stati individuati, che possiedono terreni e schiavi - il che tra l’altro cozza profondamente con la loro immagine di migranti economici quali erano nella loro residenza di Novellara - che si opponevano al fidanzamento tra Saman e il suo amato Saqib perché appartenenti a caste diverse. Ma è tutto corretto? È possibile che ci siano state semplificazioni mediatiche, che qualcosa si sia perso nella traduzione?

Una certezza c’è: Saman si era opposta al matrimonio forzato con un suo cugino in Pakistan, che aveva 10 anni più di lei. Era scappata dai genitori, andata in una comunità protetta con il sostegno dei servizi sociali. Ma i genitori le avevano preso i documenti e lei era andata da loro per riottenerli. Era il 30 aprile 2021: da allora Saman è tra le persone scomparse su territorio italiano.

“Le caste esistono, la schiavitù no. Ma molte cose in Pakistan stanno cambiando”, spiega a IlGiornale.it Hussain Sajad dell’associazione culturale islamica Muhammadiah di Brescia, che da 30 anni vive in Italia.

È stato detto che i genitori di Saman Abbas possiedono schiavi. Esiste la schiavitù in Pakistan?

“No, non mi risulta che esista la schiavitù, e a me sembra molto offensivo. È possibile che ci siano forme di sfruttamento del lavoro simili a quelle di altri Paesi, ma non la schiavitù”.

È stato detto che Saman non avrebbe potuto, per la famiglia, sposare Saqib, perché appartenenti a caste diverse. Esiste in Pakistan un sistema di caste?

“Le caste esistono e purtroppo ci sono anche alcune persone venute in Italia negli anni ’90, possiamo dire che sono quasi analfabete e quindi persone ignoranti, che ci tengono a combinare matrimoni nella loro stessa casta. In questo caso, ora come ora, noi che viviamo in Italia da 30 anni, sappiamo che in Pakistan le cose stanno cambiando e il sistema di caste sta scomparendo”.

In che direzione va il rinnovamento del Pakistan?

“L’istruzione è il punto forte, perché è accessibile a tutti, soprattutto alle ragazze. Con i social e con Internet, la gente è più informata e aggiornata su molti argomenti. Grazie all’istruzione, si è scoperto che i genitori che non accettano il volere dei figli non hanno nulla a che fare con la religione islamica”.

Quali sono le ragioni che solitamente spingono i pakistani a venire in Italia?

“Il benessere. Perché il Pakistan - è una storia lunga - è alleato della Nato e quindi degli americani. È un’area strategica: prima c’erano i sovietici in Afghanistan, l’India era alleata dei russi e agli americani faceva comodo tenere buoni i rapporti con il Pakistan, attraverso politici burattini dell’Occidente. Queste persone corrotte non hanno mai fatto il bene della nazione e del suo popolo, hanno operato senza nessuna qualifica. Una terra così ricca di minerali, negli anni ’60, era uno dei Paesi più avanzati, che aveva aiutato la Germania dopo la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, Singapore, la Corea del Sud. Purtroppo a causa di queste politiche pilotate da americani e inglesi, non ci sono mai stati governanti scelti tra il popolo”.

Se i genitori di Saman saranno estradati li attende la giustizia italiana. Se non dovessero essere estradati, cosa prevede la giustizia pakistana per le accuse che pendono sul loro capo?

“Non posso parlare di leggi perché non sono avvocato, parlo con buon senso in base a quello che vedo oggi in Pakistan. In Pakistan c’è tanta corruzione, ma se ci sono buoni avvocati, si può riuscire a ottenere per Saman una giustizia che sia autentica. Oggi il Pakistan è governato da una persona molto saggia, che tiene alla giustizia. Le leggi ci sono e la giustizia può prevalere”.

I parenti di Saman sotto indagine hanno riparato o cercato di riparare in altri luoghi d’Europa come la Francia. È perché esistono, fuori dall’Italia ma sempre in Ue, comunità di pakistani forse più nutrite - e magari ignare - sul cui appoggio poter contare?

“Non conosco la realtà francese. Ma quando si tratta di giustizia a volte ci sono persone che non aiutano a nascondere chi è ricercato per crimini di questo genere”.

Perché questo caso ha, secondo lei, suscitato più scalpore di altri analoghi? Può essere per la presenza di Saqib, cioè del fidanzato che Saman aveva scelto di amare e che ora la attende e la piange?

“Ho rispetto per i sentimenti di Saqib. Quello che ha fatto può contribuire forse un po’ alla sensibilizzazione, si prova compassione, dolore, rabbia per Saman. Si vorrebbe trovarla. Io mi auguro che questa ragazza sia viva. Io penso che un giorno salterà fuori. Se i genitori sono scappati in Pakistan, in altri casi il governo ha aiutato Paesi che hanno chiesto aiuto in questo senso: lo Stato è al momento molto severo e attento su questi temi. Questi elementi mi fanno pensare che Saman sia viva, nascosta da qualche parte. Dopo tutte le ricerche, se Saman fosse stata seppellita nei dintorni di Novellara l’avrebbero trovata. Spero che ci risentiremo per dirci che Saman è stata ritrovata viva”.

«Cerco carceri in affitto, pago bene». Danmarks Radio, emittente danese tra le più seguite, ci sta persino scherzando sopra con una serie di spot trasmessi all'interno del palinsesto giornaliero. L'idea partorita dal ministro della Giustizia Nick Haekkerup, e appoggiata in modo trasversale da buona parte del Parlamento, genera ironia, ma fa anche discutere. A dire il vero è stata la stessa radio ad aver lanciato la notizia, rimbalzata poi sui principali quotidiani scandinavi. La Danimarca è vicina a stringere un accordo con le autorità del Kosovo per l'affitto di un'intera prigione, con celle per almeno 300 prigionieri.

Quanto sta accadendo fa parte di una collaborazione andata a buon fine tra il governo, alcuni partiti d'opposizione, in rappresentanza di entrambe le ali del parlamento, e il servizio carcerario e di libertà vigilata danese. Si prevede che le case di pena soffriranno un disavanzo di circa un migliaio di posti entro il 2025 e l'accordo è progettato per risolvere il problema di sovraffollamento. Secondo i dati forniti dal governo, all'inizio di quest'anno è stata raggiunta e superata la capacità massima del sistema danese, con oltre 4mila detenuti su una popolazione nazionale di circa 6 milioni di abitanti. Dal 2015 la popolazione carceraria è aumentata del 19%, mentre il numero delle forze dell'ordine che lavorano nei penitenziari è diminuito del 18%. L'accordo prevede lo stanziamento di 4 miliardi di corone danesi (600 milioni di euro) per le nuove misure, che, oltre alla prigione del Kosovo, includono strutture simili in Danimarca e misure per ridurre il tasso di detenzione nel Paese.

I reclusi interessati al trasferimento sono tutti migranti, e sarebbero comunque stati espulsi dalla Danimarca una volta scontata la propria condanna. Le attuali disposizioni normative prevedono infatti che i migranti incarcerati vengano espulsi dal territorio nazionale al termine della loro permanenza in prigione. L'anno scorso, ad esempio, i detenuti che aspettarono il trasferimento furono 350.

Il ministro della Giustizia, Nick Haekkerup, ha ottenuto un appoggio trasversale dalle forze politiche e ha definito storica la riforma, ammettendo tuttavia che «si tratta del primo passo in una lunga e dura lotta per riequilibrare il sistema. Non sarà sempre così, perché parallelamente avvieremo la costruzione di un nuovo carcere di massima sicurezza».

Non si tratta comunque del primo esperimento nell'area scandinava. La Norvegia negli scorsi anni aveva firmato un documento, molto criticato, per l'affitto di posti carcerari nei Paesi Bassi. Esperimento che ha avuto la durata di un paio di anni. Giusto il tempo di dar vita a opere di ammodernamento nei penitenziari di Olso e Bergen.

L'Alleanza Rosso-Verde, principale gruppo di opposizione, è apparso invece scettico e ritiene che l'esecutivo abbia scelto di fare del servizio penitenziario e di libertà vigilata danese una questione di politica sull'immigrazione. «Semplicemente non credo che dovremmo istituire 300 celle all'estero - spiega la portavoce Rosa Lund - ci sono altri modi di gran lunga migliori per risolvere i problemi di capacità. Inoltre, sarà molto difficile tenere d'occhio i diritti umani dei prigionieri, storicamente violati nelle carceri di Pristina».

Alla Camera dei Deputati è in discussione la proposta di legge di legalizzazione dell’aiuto al suicidio e della eutanasia. In parallelo, l’Associazione Luca Coscioni ha raccolto le firme per il referendum (parzialmente) abrogativo della norma del codice penale che punisce l’omicidio del consenziente: la Consulta dovrà valutare l’ammissibilità costituzionale del quesito.
